This is one of those stories. Sometimes life gives us ordinary days that become extraordinary simply because we were together. A birthday. A cake. A few decorations. A house that is temporarily covered in balloons. A teenager who is growing entirely too fast. And a mother standing somewhere in the middle of it all, looking around and realizing, How did we get here already? Recently, we got to celebrate my son's birthday. And honestly?
