My name is Amaris, which means “whom God has promised.”
But around here, I lovingly go by Angel—the voice, the heart, and the
spirit behind AMC Rise and Thrive.

More Than a Blog — It’s My Testimony
This space was born out of something deeper than just an idea
or a hobby.
It was born from a soul awakening. A shedding. A reckoning.
A moment where life as I knew it stopped making sense, and I realized I
couldn’t keep pretending I was okay.
For years, I walked through life checking all the boxes —
career, family, responsibilities. I did everything I thought I was “supposed”
to do. I was successful on the outside, but quietly unraveling on the inside.
I spent two decades in a career that paid the bills but
drained my spirit.
I smiled while silently drowning in burnout, masking pain with productivity.
I gave until I had nothing left — to my work, to others, to expectations.
And one day, I broke.
But in that breaking… I found God again.
Not the version I was taught to fear, but the one I felt in my bones — the God
who meets you in your mess and whispers, “You’re still mine.”

Return to Myself
In the stillness of prayer and the chaos of real life, I began
to remember who I truly was:

The journey didn’t happen all at once. It came in pieces.
Quiet moments at midnight with a crystal in my hand and Scripture on my lips.
Journaling under the full moon. Crying on the bathroom floor. Hearing songs
that felt like prophecy.
It came through my child — a radiant soul with special needs,
whose presence is both humbling and holy.
It came through surrender. Through listening. Through healing.
And slowly, the pieces came together to form something sacred:
AMC Rise and Thrive.

Stands For
AMC stands for Alignment, Magic, and Christ-Consciousness.

To stop betraying yourself for the comfort of others.
To move with the rhythms of divine timing instead of fighting against them.
It’s when your soul, mind, body, and Spirit all begin to speak the same
language. And you finally feel… free.

I’m a woman in her 40s.

I created this space so you wouldn’t have to walk your
