Signs from the Universe: Learning to Trust What’s Gently Guiding You
✨ Signs from the Universe: Learning to Trust What’s Gently Guiding You
By Angel, Founder of AMC Rise and Thrive
Hello beautiful soul 🤍
I’m really glad you’re here today.
Whether you’re reading this in the middle of your day, during
a quiet pause, or while your thoughts are already wandering ahead — take a
breath with me for just a moment. 🌬️
Slow it down.
Let your shoulders relax.
Let your heart soften.
Because today’s reflection is about something subtle, quiet,
and often overlooked — yet deeply meaningful.
Today, we’re talking about signs from the universe.
Those moments that don’t always make sense right away.
Those nudges you don’t fully understand until later.
Those experiences that feel small at first… but end up changing how you see
things, how you trust, and how you move through life.
When a “Random Delay” Isn’t So Random After All
Have you ever received a sign from the universe that you
didn’t recognize at the time — only to understand it much later?
I get them often.
Sometimes they’re loud.
Sometimes they’re quiet.
And sometimes… they look like inconvenience.
Recently, I was trying to sell an old monitor I had after
reorganizing my office. It had been sitting there for weeks. No offers. No
interest. Nothing.
Which felt strange.
I updated the ad, adjusted the wording, did all the practical
things — and still, nothing happened. No bites. No messages. Just silence.
Then one day, it hit me.
What if I actually needed it?
I hadn’t thought about it before, but suddenly I realized that
if I used it in another space, I’d have dual monitors when I took my laptop
there. Something that would make my workflow smoother, easier, and far more
efficient — especially for writing, organizing, and creating content.
And suddenly, it clicked.
It felt like the universe gently saying:
“Nope. Not yet. You’re going to need that.”
What I originally saw as a delay was actually protection.
A pause that allowed clarity to arrive.
A redirection disguised as inconvenience.
And once I recognized that, I couldn’t unsee it.
The Subtle Language of Divine Timing
I think this happens more than we realize.
Signs from the universe aren’t always dramatic. They don’t
always arrive with lightning bolts or unmistakable clarity.
More often, they arrive quietly — woven into everyday life.
Sometimes they show up as:
- A
delay that saves you later
- A
conversation with a stranger that lingers in your heart
- A
post you “randomly” stumble across at just the right moment
- A
door closing when you weren’t ready — only to open another you didn’t know
existed
Think about it.
You might be riding in an Uber, half-listening, when the
driver casually shares something that answers a question you’ve been carrying
silently for weeks.
Or you scroll past an older woman on Instagram, gently sharing
wisdom, and you suddenly think, How did she know I needed to hear this
today?
These moments don’t announce themselves as signs.
They just feel different.
Like alignment.
Like resonance.
Like something settling into place inside you.
We’ve talked about divine timing before — and I’ll say it
again here: it is one of the most humbling and beautiful forces we experience.
We think we’re just going about our day.
Checking boxes.
Running errands.
Doing what needs to be done.
And then something — or someone — is placed directly in our
path.
Not by accident.
When Life Redirects You (Even When You Resist)
I truly believe many of us stay in places that no longer fit
us because we’re afraid to move.
We stay in jobs that drain us.
Situations that dull us.
Roles that no longer reflect who we are becoming.
And often, we don’t leave until something happens that forces
us to.
A company restructures.
A position is eliminated.
A situation becomes unbearable.
At first, it feels devastating.
Unfair.
Disruptive.
Unwanted.
But then — months or even years later — you look back and
realize:
If that hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t be here.
I’ve seen people land in positions that fit them perfectly —
not because they chased them, but because they were redirected.
Their presence alone shifts the environment.
The team functions better.
The energy changes.
They didn’t find the right place until the wrong one released
them.
And that’s hard to trust when you’re in the middle of it.
Because redirection doesn’t feel gentle while it’s happening.
But it is purposeful.
Faith in the Unseen
I don’t pretend to understand how all of this works.
And honestly? If I tried to sit down and figure it out
completely, I’d probably drive myself in circles.
So instead, I choose faith.
Not blind optimism.
Not denial.
But a grounded trust in something bigger than my limited view.
I choose to believe that things are conspiring in my favor —
even when I can’t see it yet.
Especially when I can’t see it yet.
That doesn’t mean I don’t feel confused sometimes.
Or frustrated.
Or impatient.
It means I don’t let those feelings convince me that
everything is falling apart.
Sometimes… it’s falling into place — just not on my timeline.
And learning to trust that?
That’s a spiritual practice.
🌱 How to
Recognize Signs from the Universe
Not every coincidence is a sign — but some moments carry a
deeper resonance.
Here are a few gentle ways signs often show up.
🌿
Repetition
You hear the same message multiple times from different
places.
A theme keeps appearing.
A word, idea, or reminder keeps finding you.
This is the universe tapping you on the shoulder saying, Pay
attention.
For me, repetition often shows up in nature — especially
wildlife. I’ll keep seeing cardinals or crows in unexpected places. Birds that
suddenly draw my attention and stir a thought or memory I wasn’t consciously
thinking about.
It’s never random.
It’s always reflective.
🌿 Delays
and Detours
Things don’t move forward no matter how hard you push.
Something feels “stuck.”
Sometimes, the delay is the sign.
For example, if I can’t find my keys, forget my phone, or get
held up before leaving the house — I don’t get mad anymore. I slow down. I take
my time.
Because that delay means I wasn’t meant to be on the road at
that exact moment.
I don’t know how many potential accidents I’ve avoided — but I
truly believe it’s divine intervention protecting me from something unseen.
🌿
Unexpected Conversations
A stranger says something that lands deeply.
A casual interaction stays with you longer than it should.
Sometimes you’re talking to one person about a specific topic…
and then days later, someone completely unrelated brings up the same thing.
That’s not coincidence.
That’s a message asking for your attention.
🌿 Inner
Knowing
That quiet feeling in your gut.
Not fear.
Not anxiety.
Just a calm, steady sense of this matters.
I talked about this before — but one morning I was up early
and planned to head out. It was raining hard, and my intuition was a firm NOPE.
Stay home.
Later, my husband told me there were multiple accidents on his
way to an appointment.
I trusted my intuition — and stayed safe.
That inner knowing is one of the clearest signs we receive.
🌿 Doors
Closing and Opening
What feels like loss often makes space for alignment.
My business closed after four years. And I won’t lie — I was
discouraged.
But had that not happened, I wouldn’t be here writing this
blog. I wouldn’t be showing up for others in the way I do now.
I was surviving… not thriving.
And sometimes, what we cling to is what keeps us from becoming
who we’re meant to be.
🌸 Learning
to Let Go of Control
One of the hardest parts of recognizing signs from the
universe is releasing the need to control everything.
We want guarantees.
Timelines.
Proof.
But faith doesn’t work that way.
Faith asks us to take the next step — without seeing the whole
staircase.
And for people who like structure, clarity, and security… that
can feel terrifying.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
Control creates tension.
Trust creates peace.
And peace doesn’t mean nothing goes wrong.
It means you stop interpreting every disruption as failure.
Sometimes… it’s guidance.
💎
Affirmations for Trusting Divine Guidance
Speak these gently over yourself today:
• I trust that I am being guided, even when the path is
unclear.
• I release the need to understand everything right now.
• What is meant for me will find me at the right time.
• Delays are not denial — they are alignment.
• I am supported, protected, and divinely led.
Let these words settle into your spirit.
📖 Bible
Verse for Reflection
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your
own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
You don’t have to see the whole path.
You just have to trust the One guiding it.

the Day
“Faith” by Jordan Feliz 🎶

Listen here
This song speaks directly to those moments when you don’t know
what’s coming — when you can’t see the happy ending you’re hoping for.
It’s about believing anyway.
About trusting that something good is coming, even when today feels heavy.
Sometimes faith isn’t loud or confident.
Sometimes faith is quiet hope.
And that is enough.
🌷 Final
Thoughts: Staying Open to the Signs
Beautiful soul, signs from the universe aren’t about being
“special” or spiritually advanced.
They’re about being open.
Open to noticing.
Open to pausing.
Open to trusting that not everything needs to be forced.
What feels like a setback may be protection.
What feels like a delay may be preparation.
What feels like confusion may be redirection.
You don’t need to understand every sign right away.
Clarity often comes in hindsight.
So stay open.
Stay curious.
Stay willing to believe that things are unfolding with purpose.
Because more often than not… they are.
Watch the signs. 🤍
With love and trust,
