Why I Believe We All Have a Story: What does your next chapter hold?

Hello beautiful soul 🌞
If you’re reading these words right now, I want you to pause
for a moment — really pause — and breathe that in. You are here. Alive.
Present. Carrying a lifetime of experiences, emotions, and lessons that have
shaped you into who you are today.
That alone tells me something powerful: you have a story.
And not just any story — your story. One that’s still
unfolding, still finding its rhythm, still being written by every breath you
take and every choice you make.
I’ve always believed that we’re all here for a reason. Each
soul that walks this earth carries a purpose — even if it hasn’t been
discovered yet. Some days it feels clear, like you can see exactly where your
path is leading. Other days, it’s blurry, uncertain, even painful. But purpose
isn’t something that disappears when life gets hard. It’s the quiet pulse that
keeps beating beneath the noise.
There’s something sacred about realizing that even your pain
has purpose. The detours, heartbreaks, and delays you didn’t understand at the
time were never random. They were preparing you — shaping your heart, refining
your faith, and revealing your strength. Sometimes we think our story only
matters when we reach the “good” parts, but truthfully, the hard chapters often
hold the most divine meaning.
Every Chapter Has Meaning
When I think about my own life, I see it in chapters. Some
were beautiful — full of laughter, growth, and joy. Others were marked by pain,
loss, and confusion. Yet, when I look back, I see how every moment had meaning.
Each season carried wisdom that shaped my faith, deepened my compassion, and
reminded me that even when I didn’t understand the “why,” something sacred was
still at work.
Maybe you feel like your story doesn’t matter, or like it’s
too ordinary, too messy, too complicated to mean something divine. But that
couldn’t be further from the truth.
Every story — no matter how quiet or chaotic — holds light.
The struggle you overcame, the love you gave, the times you got back up when no
one was watching… all of that matters.
It’s proof that your life is more than a collection of moments
— it’s a testament of resilience.
Think about it: every time you made it through something you
thought would break you, another layer of strength was added to your spirit.
Every time you chose forgiveness over bitterness, love over fear, growth over
comfort — your story evolved. You became more of who you were created to
be.
The truth is, your story isn’t meant to look like anyone
else’s. It’s uniquely yours — a blend of divine design, human experience, and
spiritual growth that only you could live. There’s beauty in the mess. There’s
holiness in the healing.
The Collective Story We Share
We’ve all lived through something historic together — a global
pandemic. It changed us. It forced us to stop, to look at our lives, to feel
things we’d buried under the busyness of everyday living.
For some, it brought clarity. For others, deep grief. But one
thing it revealed across the board was this: we are all still here.
And if you’re still here, it means your mission isn’t
over.
You still have chapters to write, people to meet, healing to
receive, lessons to teach. Your breath today is evidence that there’s still
purpose flowing through your life.
I don’t know what your story holds. But I do know this — the
fact that you’ve made it this far is no small thing. You have fought invisible
battles, carried unseen weights, and still managed to rise. That kind of
strength isn’t random. It’s sacred.
So many of us are walking miracles — survivors of seasons that
once tried to take us out. And yet, here we are. Still standing. Still seeking.
Still showing up. That’s not coincidence. That’s calling. That’s grace.
When Purpose Feels Hard to Find
Let’s be honest — purpose can feel slippery. Sometimes we
expect it to show up as a lightning bolt moment, something big and undeniable.
But most of the time, purpose whispers. It hides in the small things — the way
you show up for someone you love, the art you create, the truth you speak, the
hope you carry when everything feels uncertain.
Purpose doesn’t always mean having a grand calling. Sometimes
it’s about being fully present where you are and trusting that your light is
doing more good than you realize.
Maybe you’re in a waiting season right now — unsure of what’s
next, trying to make sense of where you’ve been. That’s okay. The waiting is
part of the becoming. Sometimes, God pauses your story not to punish you, but
to prepare you.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to
know the ending of your story to keep turning the pages.
Keep walking. Keep believing that your existence is not an
accident. Keep trusting that something bigger is guiding you, even when you
can’t see it.
The Story in the Struggle
We all reach moments where life feels heavy. Where the
darkness creeps in, and it feels like you’re losing your grip. Maybe that’s
where you are right now — in a season that doesn’t make sense, where you’re
doing your best to hold it together while your heart feels like it’s
unraveling.
I’ve been there. Those moments can make you question your
worth, your faith, even your reason for being here. But every time I’ve reached
that place, something always whispers back: Stay.
Stay even when it hurts. Stay even when you can’t see what’s
ahead. Stay because your story isn’t finished yet.
And sometimes, that’s all faith is — choosing to stay when
everything in you wants to run.
The courage to remain in the unknown is what builds spiritual
muscle. It’s what deepens your trust in God and shows you that even when you
feel alone, you’re still being held.
You are allowed to be both broken and becoming. You are
allowed to not have it all together and still believe in something greater.
That’s the essence of faith — staying rooted in hope when the evidence hasn’t
yet appeared.
🎵 Song of
the Day: “Stay” by Georgia Phantom
I first heard this song during a dark time in my life. I was
struggling with everything — my emotions, my direction, my faith. I had shut
off, because sometimes feeling deeply just hurts too much.
But when this song came on, I stopped. The lyrics pierced
through my walls and spoke straight to the part of me that still believed in
something better.
“When the darkness comes and it feels too much
When the weight on your chest wanna make you give up
Just stay, just stay, yeah, hold that line
You're a fighter in the war they can't win.”
And then —
“I know what it's like tryna quiet your head
When the flashbacks hit and you can't forget
All the battles you fought that nobody saw
All the tears that you had when you stand so tall.”
Every word of that hit deep. Because that’s the truth of so
many of our stories — the battles nobody saw. The nights we held ourselves
together. The pain we prayed our way through.
Sometimes music gives language to the emotions our hearts
can’t find words for. That’s what this song did for me — it reminded me that
staying is strength.
That survival is holy.
God’s Hand in Your Story
There’s a verse that I come back to often when I start
doubting the purpose behind my journey:
“And we know that in all things God works for the
good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.” —
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
That scripture doesn’t promise that everything will be easy or
make sense. It promises that everything will have meaning. Even the parts that
broke you. Even the seasons you thought were wasted.
God is the master storyteller. And sometimes the chapters that
feel the hardest to read are the very ones that prepare you for your greatest
growth.
Your story isn’t over — and no pain is wasted in the hands of
the Divine.
So if you’re questioning whether what you’ve been through
matters — it does. Every tear, every prayer, every night you spent wondering if
you’d ever feel light again… God saw it all. And He’s weaving it into something
beautiful, even now.
How to Honor Your Story
So how do we live like our story matters?
By slowing down long enough to listen. By giving ourselves
grace for the pages that were messy. By celebrating the ones where we showed
up, even when no one saw it.
Here are a few gentle ways to honor your own story:
1. Reflect with compassion. Instead of judging your past, ask
what it was trying to teach you. There’s wisdom in your wounds.
2. Speak your truth. Your voice has power. Whether through
journaling, art, or conversation, let your story breathe.
3. Stay open. The next chapter might surprise you. Let God
unfold it in divine timing.
4. Encourage others. Sometimes your healing becomes someone
else’s hope. Share your light when you’re ready.
5. Trust the Author. You may not know the plot, but the One
who writes it never loses the thread.

Final Reflection
Your story is sacred. Every joy, every heartbreak, every
unanswered prayer — it’s all part of the masterpiece that is your
becoming.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to keep
turning the page, trusting that even the pauses, plot twists, and detours are
leading somewhere meaningful.
So, beautiful soul, wherever you are right now — *stay*. Stay
rooted in faith, in love, in the knowing that your existence matters
deeply.
You are not a mistake. You are a miracle still unfolding.
With truth in my heart,
Angel
