Welcome Back to AMC Rise and Thrive 🤍

Hey beautiful souls,

I hope today finds you breathing a little deeper, thinking a little clearer, and remembering that your life does not have to look like everyone else’s life in order to matter. Sometimes the pressure to fit in can become so loud that people forget they were created with individuality for a reason. God did not design every flower to bloom the same way, and He did not design human beings to all think, move, speak, dream, or create in identical ways either.

One of the hardest things to do in this world is to stand confidently in your own mind while everyone around you is trying to tell you who you should be. We live in a time where opinions travel fast, trends change overnight, and people are constantly trying to convince others what they should believe, support, wear, think, or follow. If you are not careful, you can slowly lose your own voice trying to keep up with everyone else’s noise.

As I write this today, I do not want you to take my words as absolute truth just because I wrote them. I want you to think deeply for yourself. I want these reflections to spark curiosity inside you. I want you to question things, pray about things, research things, and truly seek wisdom instead of blindly following crowds. That is part of spiritual growth too. Growth is not copying another person’s path step-by-step. Growth is learning how to hear God’s guidance within your own spirit.

I know my heart. I never write to control people or force people into my perspective. My hope is simply to offer another view that might help someone see their life differently. You do not have to agree with every thought I have, and honestly, that is okay. We are all walking unique journeys filled with different lessons, experiences, and revelations.

There is freedom in realizing you do not have to become a copy of everybody else. 🌎💛

Sometimes people may misunderstand you simply because you chose authenticity over performance. But being different is not a flaw. It is often the beginning of discovering who you truly are beneath expectations, labels, and pressure.

And honestly? The world already has enough copies.

What it needs is more people brave enough to be real.

Stop Being Afraid to Be Different 🌻

One thing I have learned throughout life is that many people are deeply uncomfortable with individuality. The moment someone thinks differently, questions things, or chooses another route, there will always be people trying to pull them back toward the crowd or put them down for not following.

Some people follow trends without ever asking themselves why. Some repeat opinions they heard online without truly researching them. Some live entire lives trying to fit into boxes that never felt natural to them in the first place.

That does not mean those people are bad. Sometimes people simply fear standing alone. It can feel safer to blend in than to risk criticism, rejection, or misunderstanding. But safety and purpose are not always the same thing.

There are moments when God may call you to walk differently from the people around you. That path can feel lonely at times, but loneliness does not always mean you are lost. Sometimes it means you are finally listening to your own spirit instead of drowning in outside voices.

I think that is one reason discernment matters so much. Discernment is more than just deciding right from wrong. It is learning how to pause before accepting every idea handed to you. It is learning how to ask questions. It is learning how to pray before following crowds.

Too many people are pressured into believing they must think exactly like everyone around them or they will somehow be “wrong.” But growth requires exploration. Wisdom requires reflection. Healing requires honesty.

You can respect others without becoming them. 🌿

You can love people without blindly following them.

You can listen to perspectives while still choosing your own direction.

That balance is important.

I also think there is beauty in allowing people the freedom to live differently from us. I do not believe in forcing my views onto others, because every person has free will. Every soul is navigating life in their own way. Some people build beautiful things with their choices, while others learn through painful consequences. That is part of the human journey.

We can encourage people without controlling them.

We can guide without condemning.

We can disagree without hatred.

That matters more than people realize.

I once heard someone say, “What people do not understand, they try to destroy.” And honestly, I think there is a painful truth hidden inside that statement.

Throughout history, people have often attacked what felt unfamiliar to them. Sometimes people mock what they secretly do not understand. Sometimes they criticize what challenges their comfort zones. Sometimes they reject others simply because their existence exposes different possibilities.

People may call someone “weird” simply because they think or act differently.

They may shame someone for healing differently.

They may dismiss someone’s creativity because it does not fit traditional expectations.

And sadly, some people tear others down because another person’s freedom reminds them of how trapped they feel inside themselves.

Not everyone knows how to celebrate individuality.

Some only know how to fear it.

But you cannot spend your entire life shrinking yourself to make insecure people comfortable.

There comes a point where you must stop apologizing for being authentic.

Jesus Himself was misunderstood by many people. He challenged religious mindsets, questioned hypocrisy, and moved differently than expected. Truth often unsettles people who are deeply attached to control, appearances, or tradition.

That is why discernment and compassion must work together.

Not everyone who misunderstands you is evil.

Some are simply limited by fear, pain, conditioning, or lack of awareness.

And honestly, we have all had moments where we misunderstood someone too quickly.

That is why grace matters.

But grace does not mean abandoning yourself.

It means learning how to remain loving without betraying your spirit.

Your Journey Will Not Look Like Everyone Else’s 🛤

I have always been someone who is particular about what I want. If I hire someone to create something for me, I usually know exactly how I want it done. And if I cannot find what I am looking for, I often try creating it my own way.

Does it always work perfectly? Absolutely not. 😂

Sometimes it is trial and error.

Sometimes things fail.

Sometimes plans fall apart.

But there is something valuable hidden inside that process: experience.

When you try things yourself, you learn what works and what does not. You develop wisdom through living instead of only observing. That process builds character, discernment, creativity, and confidence.

I think many people are scared to make mistakes, so they constantly look for someone else to tell them exactly what to do. While advice can absolutely help us, there is also a danger in becoming so dependent on outside guidance that you stop trusting your own ability to think.

God gave you a mind for a reason. 🕊

He gave you intuition.

He gave you curiosity.

He gave you creativity.

He gave you individuality.

Your path may not resemble your friend’s path, your family’s path, or some influencer’s path online. And honestly? It is not supposed to.

Comparison has stolen peace from so many people.

People compare timelines.

People compare relationships.

People compare healing journeys.

People compare spirituality.

People compare success.

But comparison often distracts people from the unique assignment God placed on their own life.

There are lessons you can only learn through your own journey.

There are experiences shaping you into who you are becoming.

There are doors meant specifically for you.

And there are also moments when God allows frustration, mistakes, or delays because those moments teach wisdom that success alone never could.

Sometimes people mock those who choose different paths simply because they do not understand them. But understanding is not required for your calling to be valid.

Not everyone will understand your vision.

Not everyone will understand your healing process.

Not everyone will understand why you changed.

And that is okay.

Sometimes your growth will confuse people who only knew the old version of you.

Sometimes your peace will irritate people who are addicted to chaos.

Sometimes your boundaries will offend people who benefited from your lack of them.

And sometimes your authenticity will make people uncomfortable because it reminds them they are still hiding pieces of themselves.

But your purpose is not to live small enough for everyone else to feel comfortable.

Your purpose is to become who God created you to be.

That journey requires courage.

It requires honesty.

It requires letting go of comparison long enough to hear your own spirit clearly again.

And honestly, some of the most beautiful breakthroughs happen when you stop asking, “How can I fit in?” and start asking, “Who am I truly becoming?”

Research, Reflect, and Seek Wisdom for Yourself 🔍💡

One thing I truly encourage people to do is research things for themselves.

Do not just believe something because it is popular.

Do not automatically reject something because people criticize it either.

Take time to think.

Take time to pray.

Take time to reflect deeply.

Ask questions.

Read.

Learn.

Observe.

Seek wise counsel from people you trust.

And yes, even explore different perspectives that challenge your own thinking sometimes. Growth often happens when we allow ourselves to learn beyond comfort zones.

That does not mean accepting every idea blindly. It means being open enough to think critically and spiritually at the same time.

I believe God wants us to seek wisdom, not just repetition.

There is a difference between being informed and simply being influenced.

Some people never pause long enough to ask themselves:

“Do I actually believe this?”

“Why do I think this way?”

“Is this aligned with my spirit?”

“Is this helping me grow?”

Those questions matter.

And honestly, I think the internet can be both helpful and dangerous in that area. There is endless information available now. You can search almost anything instantly. That can empower people, but it can also overwhelm people.

That is why discernment matters more than ever.

Not every loud voice is a wise voice.

Not every trending opinion is truth.

Not every crowd is headed in the right direction.

That is why I always encourage people to seek God first. 🙏✨

When your spirit is grounded, it becomes easier to recognize what aligns with peace, wisdom, and truth versus what is simply noise.

You do not need to fear being different if your heart is genuine.

You do not need to apologize for thinking deeply.

You do not need permission to grow beyond old patterns.

You do not need validation from crowds to walk the path God is calling you toward.

And sometimes the strongest thing a person can do is quietly remain authentic in a world constantly trying to shape them into something else.

I also think wisdom comes from humility. Real wisdom is not acting like you know everything. It is staying teachable while still using discernment. It is understanding that growth is ongoing.

We are all learning.

We are all evolving.

We all have blind spots.

That is why prayer matters.

That is why reflection matters.

That is why slowing down matters.

The louder the world becomes, the more intentional we must become about protecting our peace, our minds, and our spiritual clarity.

You do not have to absorb every opinion thrown at you.

You do not have to engage every argument.

You do not have to explain your spirit to everyone who misunderstands it.

Sometimes protecting your peace is wisdom too. 🌙

📖 Bible Verse

Romans 12:2 (NIV)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

This verse connects so deeply to today’s message because it reminds us that transformation begins internally. The world will constantly try to shape people through pressure, fear, trends, and expectations. But God calls us to renew our minds instead of conforming blindly.

Renewal requires thoughtfulness.

Renewal requires reflection.

Renewal requires courage.

And sometimes renewal means becoming comfortable with standing apart from the crowd while staying aligned with truth, wisdom, and love.

Transformation is not about becoming who the world demands you to be.

It is about becoming who God created you to be before fear convinced you to hide yourself.

🎵 Song of the Day: “God Knows” by Rare of Breed feat. SMO 🎶🔥

🎧 Listen here

This song connects perfectly to today’s reflection because its message centers around individuality, faith, spiritual battles, and refusing to blindly follow the crowd.

One of the strongest themes throughout the song is the reminder that you do not have to be like everybody else. That line alone carries so much truth. Many people spend years trying to fit into spaces that were never meant for them simply because they fear rejection or judgment.

The lyrics also speak about struggles, spiritual warfare, and finding direction through God instead of through worldly influence. I especially connect with the idea that life is not a race but a journey. That perspective matters deeply because so many people feel pressured to “keep up” with everyone around them.

But healing is personal.

Growth is personal.

Faith is personal.

Your walk with God is personal.

The song also talks about battles with doubt, temptation, and confusion while continuing to hold onto faith and purpose. I think many people can relate to that struggle. Life is not always easy. There are moments when outside influences try to pull people away from their values, their peace, or their identity.

But staying connected to God can help bring clarity back into the noise.

Another powerful message in the song is the importance of authenticity. The artists are not pretending to be perfect. They are speaking honestly about struggle while still choosing faith and truth. That honesty makes the message feel real and relatable.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply be genuine.

Not performative.

Not fake.

Not molded by pressure.

Just real.

So, if you have not heard this song before, take a moment to listen and reflect on its message. Ask yourself where in your life you may be shrinking yourself to fit into places you were never meant to blend into.

You do not have to become everybody else to be worthy.

God already knows who you are. 🤍

Final Thoughts 🌙✨

As you continue your journey, I hope you remember that it is okay to think differently. It is okay to ask questions. It is okay to research, reflect, and seek understanding for yourself instead of blindly following crowds.

The world will always have opinions.

People will always try to tell you what you should be.

But at the end of the day, your relationship with God, your choices, your healing, your growth, and your purpose are deeply personal.

Stay open to learning.

Stay humble enough to grow.

Stay wise enough to question things.

And stay authentic enough to remain yourself.

There is strength in individuality when it is rooted in truth, love, and discernment. 🌿

Do not be afraid to walk differently if your spirit knows that path is meant for you.

The people meant for your life will recognize your heart without requiring you to betray yourself to belong.

And the more you embrace who God created you to be, the more peace you will find in your spirit.

You were never created to be a copy.

You were created with intention.

Created with purpose.

Created with individuality.

Created with a voice that matters.

So let yourself grow honestly.

Let yourself question thoughtfully.

Let yourself heal authentically.

And let yourself become fully, unapologetically you. 🤍
